The whole concept

of "charity" games has become so tarnished that these "ruined" charities keep happening because no one seems to understand that IN ORDER TO HAVE A CHARITY you need to have at least 10 people including yourself joining the game at the same time, and ready to do so on Skype. Otherwise, don't bother trying to have one. A charity is not joining a game first and claiming that whoever joins has to help you. You cant expect that to happen and the fact that people do is ASTOUNDING to me.

The fact that people are negging this is extremely annoying because you are completely right. If you are going to claim a game, it should be the expectation that a bunch of your friends are joining SHORTLY after you. You shouldn't get a free 24 hour window waiting for people willing to help you.

It sucks wanting to play a game and not being able to because 1 person is alone in a game because they don't have friends.

I don't even know why people hold charities when they don't have any friends joining...

like to me, a charity is only fun if you have all your friends joining w/ u...

personally for me like I never do charities for myself, but I do invite my friends to join with me because for a milestone game.  I enjoy talking to people that I'm friends with and I get along with or I have known for a while.  However I don't say it's my charity you guys have to let me win even though most of the time if they're your friends they won't nominate you anyways.  I'm just there for like the friends I don't care if I get a first or not.  Besides I'd rather not have people bet on me because if people think it's my charity and I don't double their bets I feel like I'm going to be overly embarrassed especially if there was no one in the game planning to ruin it.

I agree Aquamarine . It's so ridiculous, I see people having orange charities, then that person will have a light green charity, then a dark green, and it goes on.

You can't just join a game and claim it your own, and expect 12 other people to let you win who you don't even know. If their charity gets ruined, it's their own fault for letting in people they don't even know, let alone trust.
