Kids were killed at Sandy Hook and nothing changed, nothing ever will. The Muslims will be blamed instead of guns. People will say that if everyone in that club had a gun, the shooter could have been stopped.

Blahblahblahblah - If you gave everyone a sharp knife, knife crime would go up. The more people that have access to guns, the higher the rate of gun crime. Simple Dimple.
Heroin is illegal but I can still go and buy that. There's a heroin epidemic going on right now and guess what. Heroin is till illegal. Just because something is illegal or legal doesn't mean people aren't going to do it.

Blahblahblahblah - If Heroin was freely available like guns, more people would use it. Taking and restricting gun use will not solve the problem completely but it will lower the rate of gun crimes. If the US had a similar system to the UK or France, it would have been much harder for the bastard to get a hold of a gun in the first place.
