I watched all of the first three seasons live. I actually watched the Australian version of TDWT because it aired there first. I remember loving Heather in TDI and knew she had a downfall edit and that she wouldn't win, despite getting out in a BS way. In TDA I didn't really expect much since she went so far the previous season and as expected she got out early. When she came back for TDWT I knew it would be a do or die season for her. I kind of expected that they'd let her do well but didn't expect a win. When they gave it to her, it made me truly believe she had the best three season arc of any of the characters and it's not even close.
Heather never needed friends to win. All she needed was her pure manipulation that allowed her and Alejandro to make it to the end together. Cody was her only friend in the Total Drama universe, but she let him take third nonetheless. Heather may not be the "official" winner because she lost in Canada, but she won more countries than Alejandro as well as in the US and Australia. Heather wanted it more than anyone else and was able to win the prize deservedly in World Tour. She's one of my favorite TV characters of all-time despite being a cartoon. I pray we will be so lucky as to have her and her mom on TRR if there's ever another season.

Like even in Alejandro's ending she outplayed him, I'm so mad that he won in Canada, but I refuse to accept that Heather isn't the official winner LMAO
