A few years ago I had a clog in my bathtub drain. I had been to a family event the week prior and the sink had stopped up. Now I was in the next room over so I didn't actually see what exactly took place but I had heard that they needed a snake to unclog the sink.
So when my bathtub clogged I was like perfect I need to go buy a snake. I got in my car and drove to PetCo and I was standing in front of a display of snakes, a young guy came up and asked if he could help me and I said " I need to know which of these snakes is the best at eating stuff from clogged drains.. they get kinda expensive.. will this one work.." and I pointed to a snake that was about 15$. The sales guy couldn't even stand on his feet he was laughing so hard.. and he waved over a co-worker who asked me the same thing and I repeated myself.
Long story short, I got laughed out of PetCo and I didn't understand why.. so I called my Dad who hung up on me in a fit of laughter and called me back a few minutes later, apologizing because he had to pee because of what I asked and then he said "Honey, you need to go to Lowe's for that, you can't get a plumbing snake at the Pet store."
Ugh, so I haven't been in PetCo in about 3 years, and every time anything gets clogged everyone looks at me and laughs.
