"didn't have that on your 2024 bingo card" but bingo cards are given out randomly so hypothetically you could have had that on your 2024 bingo card if it was a thing so i don't really like it
and if you're making a bingo card at the start of every year, your goal should be to get bingo so you should put super obvious things. in that case, yeah i guess you're saying "this isn't the most obvious thing that could happen" but that's still objectively true of like....everything? so the analogy really doesn't work for me and every time i hear it i wish we as a culture could move on from it
