The amount you get for top 3 is kind of low especially since stars has become a lot more expensive and a lot more intense. In order to break even with the amount of money you spent to get in, you need at least 2nd. Even if you make finals you're not guaranteed to make your money back and it's all out of your hands in finals. The karma for 3rd is kind of low too. 15 karma is just as much as you get for WINNING a casting. And stars is a lot harder than a casting and 3rd in stars is definitely more important than a 1st in casting.

but i remember when ginny was a mod we had a convo about this, and its all about supply and demand. people are willing to pay 80T and risk not getting 1st, because its the premier game on tengaged. So i don't think randomize will wanna change it since everyone is so willing to play still.
Having said that I completely agree, it is VERY hard to get to 5th place so karma and T should be awarded for getting that far :l
