Back to reality

Jan 11, 2010 by Bethamphetamine
So vacations are over and I started school today =(
it was a good day though, but nothing interesting, I did miss my classmates and my friends but I so don't miss going to bed at 3am doing my schoolwork because I work until 8 pm and get home a 9 pm to start doing my school stuff and study for exams ugh

But on the bright side, no classes on friday YAYYY and my best friend who is in NYC came to visit these days YAY I missed him

I hope reality this semester (and this new year) is better than the last one which I had no social life because of school and work so my resolution for this year is to bring back to life mah social whore lol

Good luck for all of you who already started classes like me and the ones who will soon!

ok:

*a more or less vertical column of air whirling around itself as it moves over the surface of the Earth

LOL

I suppose because of my lack of punctuation? or because of sometimes I start talking about a topic and then start talking of something else?

I realized I wrote many commas while I was writing in english, then I read my posts and though "ZOMGG I'm a comma abuser!" and stopped using them lol. And mah enlgish teachers used to tell me that in english sentences are short while in spanish can be as fucking long as you want haha and write a period until you finish it like this one I'm writing just now, and only until I'm finished I will use it =P .

Oh another thing I learned when I was studying some PR in NYC, is that, well since you need to quote a lot while writing press releases and stuff like that, I learned that in english the period goes inside the "" like you finish the sentence then it goes ." and in spanish the period always goes at the end and I did that once and told me I didn't know grammar and I said that it's how it's supposed to be and we had an argument and then realized we both were right in our own er knowledge. And I found funny that then I did my internship in a PR firm there and they asked me to find grammar or other kind of mistakes in some releases and writings which was funny. Who the hell asks someone who speaks english as a second language to look for mistakes? But I did good XD

ok I talk a lot.
