Don't hit them ~ Hitting a child above the neck is punishable by law. And studies have shown that persons phsyically punished as a child grow up to have more problems, be emotionally stunted, etc.

Understand that they have their own personalities and feelings. You can't really groom a child to be how you want them to be. You can just try to help them and be understanding, without trying to control them too much.

Children need lots of healthy food and drink.
Make sure they have lots of fruit and vegetables, and drink plenty of water.
Also, make sure they go out in the sun ~ It helps their weight, nutrition, and more.

And remember, that even if they say they hate you, almost 100% of the time they do not really mean it.
I hated my parents, that's true, but I also loved them deeply!

Either your kid is lying, or upset with the other kid.
Or you got duped.
But I don't think it should really matter weither they're "real" twins or not - They look very similiar and adorable to me.
You can get their blood tested if you want.
You just gotta remember kids say crazy things.
It'd be a little bit harsh if you sent one or both of them back.
