I haven't gotten any karma even though i've not been on the block and gone through 4 days in my newbies game. does anyone know whats wrong

The rule changed a little bit. Daily activity can as you say increase Karma but only when participation is considered active by the algorithm. If little activity is detected then Karma is not increased by the daily activity.
