imageSo, I do a bunch of work for some Green Bomb campaign. It's a good cause, donate the shoes we collected to soles4souls, then give out 50% off coupons to the donators for green eco-friendly sneakers that biodegrade in 20 years, instead of the typical 1000 years of typical shoe soles.

So...two good things happening here.

But, all that nicey nicey stuff to the side, I want my money. I went there, not thinking of the good cause for poor people who need shoes, nor about the environmental impact that getting greener shoes could provide....I came for the money. That was my priority in terms of giving, and green. I wanted my green to be given to me.

And these people did not pay me yet. They messed up something with these pre-paid cards they were supposed to give me, and apparently are going to give them to me tomorrow at some point...if these people leave the state without giving me my money, I will burn their hemp shoe factory so fast, they won't know what hit em.

imageHas this ever happened? It seems like something people wouldn't be organized enough to do here tbh, but it seems that the people with A LOT of Ts to spend might be aware enough to make it happen.

It seems like people will blog a lot complaining about the prices of items in shops, and then people will slowly buy it anyway. That's how economics works, and right now we got an oligopoly happening in the shops, and what looks like collusion. Normally businesses will have high prices, and then they will back and forth lower their prices in order to gain the consumers that the competition loses through having prices that are too high. After a while the price will lower to about the actual value of the designs. Technically shops would make the most money by stealing all the customers of their competition.

When that doesn't work though, there is the strategy of not purchasing at all from these shops and having another shop with reasonable prices and ONLY purchasing from that shop. This will MAKE the shops having high prices require lowering their price in order to remain competitive in the market. I think that we as Tengagers, the community, need to be a little more wise in purchasing really expensive things. We WANT to buy cheaper things, yes? Waste less Ts and all, even if you are wealthy? Why not force the shopowners to come down by not giving them business, and only giving the cheaper competitors business.

The shop game isn't only played by 6. We are the major players in the game, and any complaints of high prices need to be blamed equally on ourselves. So the change begins with us, not them.

Maybe people like spending all their Ts, but I say WE play the shopping game a little, cause we're definitely losing.

Okay. Look. My inbox should not have a double digit number. You get me disappointed and make me think someone I know actually might want to speak to me and it's always you...or you...or YOU. So please...

If you want me to plus some crap, put it in this blog, cause I'm just done with my mail for now. So put it in this blog, I'll plus it, you'll save me the disappointment, and hopefully your shop will miraculously thrive by way of my measley +5. And who knows, maybe someone else will come to this blog and plus your lil designs too!

Thanks for getting my hopes up! But please...just put your stuffs here and spare me the disappointment and shame.
