Book Review: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr Apr 20, 2020
Looking for a book under the genre of historical fiction with an impeccable writing style and a story that will stick with you for years to come— All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr is the perfect book you.

SYNOPSIS: Marie-Laure lives in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where her father works. When she is twelve, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them, they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

In a mining town in Germany, Werner Pfennig, an orphan, grows up with his younger sister, enchanted by a crude radio they find that brings them news and stories from places they have never seen or imagined. Werner becomes an expert at building and fixing these crucial new instruments and is enlisted to use his talent to track down the resistance. Deftly interweaving the lives of Marie-Laure and Werner, Doerr illuminates the ways, against all odds, people try to be good to one another.

Never in my life, I have read a book with such beautiful prose. This book was so efficient in stirring my emotions. I cried, got angry, laughed and got really sad. Trigger warning for depression. This book will definitely make readers feel empty and weak for days to come.

The book was perfect in pacing and never have I encountered a moment that I got bored, knowing that this is a historical fiction. The characters were beyond amazing. Very atmospheric and cinematic. And again, the writing style was superb. This is a well constructed book and definitely deserve the Pulitzer Prize Award.

My heart aches and is full of endless waves of emotions because of this book. I don’t know how can I recover from this. Making this as an all-time favorite book is an understatement.

X FACTOR USA Nov 1, 2011
I honestly believe that the X FACTOR UK is better than USA but X FACTOR USA is kinda new, putting American Idol to a looser mode. And talking about USA X FActor
my bet are:
1. Drew, she is awesome
2. Lakoda Rayne, they are fresh
3. Rachel, wow the voice and the age

HATES:
1. Melanie Amaro, shes on an unfair side although she is great I just have a negative vibes at her
2. Stereo Hogzz, eewwww
