First Game Back in a Long Time Sep 18, 2012
Final 3 in my first game back after a long break. Did some wheeling and dealing and ended up in the final 3 thanks to a split 1-1 vote.

Still got it.

Don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with being backstabbed or out played, but when it's backstabbing for backstabbings sake, it does not make sense. Especially when its a group that has played together since the start of the game and gone through too much to worry about who gets first or second or third.

Tough Day! Sep 10, 2011
First off, Frookies is craaaaappyyyyy! Don't like it at all, lol. Way easier to just play some fastings and relax. Rookies games get all tense and spammy.

Second, I wanna talk about a dilemma. When you're in a 4 person alliance with people you REALLY really like, but its clear from the start its 2 pairs working together instead of 4 individuals, its very tough to decide what to do. On the one hand, it makes sense for you to cut the other pair short for a game move. But on the other, the 4 of you clearly worked too hard to betray each other, so its tough. But I think the best thing to do is play with integrity, hold your head high, and hope the other pair doesnt win veto. Seriously.

Terrible Situation! Aug 31, 2011
Working with an alliance of four. Myself, IMRay (LOOK! SOMEONE BLOGGED ABOUT YOU!) lgt and Caligirl. We do fairly well running the votes, with a snag or two mid-game. Caligirl is blamed for the snags (inconsistant voting, some chatter about our alliance) No big deal, we cut her loose and settle on an alliance of 3, which would make final 3 easier anyway.

More badassness, controlling the votes, pulling strings, etc. And eventually we hit final 5. I get the veto, so I'm stoked, but we need one of us to grab it next round or we're doomed. Vote comes in, another win for us, but the veto gets awarded to the person we planned on cutting loose, Alyssa. So there goes Final 3... But I've got the choice to either lgt or Ray. It sucks, because they're both good aliance members, they've both done well with vetos, and I hate having to get rid of someone on my team, always. Ultimately I went with evicting Ray, only because lgt and I were the first people in our alliance.

Would you have done any different? Should I have shut up during the F5 veto and tried for F4?

(This was all in fastings. Which does not make it any less of an interesting game or situation. I just thought since "OMG ITS FASTINGS" keeps coming up, I'd clear the air.)

Better to have loved and lost Aug 31, 2011
I'm actually SURPRISINGLY satisfied with losing games as long as I stay loyal to my alliance. Something a lot of people seem to overlook, I guess. No big deal really. If I say "We're final 3." I mean it, even if I know I'm gonna lose. But to play all game working with a group of people, only to blindside them for the sake of a win? Eh, not my cup of tea.
