New Players Ask Me How To Get A Design?

imageNormally, the only way you can buy designs on this site is the auctions. The only reason the shops had designs this week to buy was because gagaluv posted designs for sale which forced the other shop owners to post designs for the public. The designs posted were all too expensive for the newer players to purchase so my first statement still applied last week too.

This week most of the shop owners will just be gifting their friends and the people who spammed designs that allowed them to bid on shops.

I hope that answers your questions on how to buy designs. This shops used to have designs for everyone, but they don't work that way anymore.

Well, I just got into competing. It's our shop, so technically.. we're allowed to do whatever we wish with it? We paid for it, I don't think we should be pretty much seen as villains because we don't post for the public every week. Sorry, but some of us enjoy getting designs from the shop that WE worked for.

Ok fair enough brandonpinzu fair enough lol. I apologize. Your right. It's your shop and you should be able to do what you want with it.... Hopefully that includes a VEGAS red Janelle for me to buy in the future :p

i would totally try to get a shop and post for the public if it wasn't such hard work spamming! i wouldn't be caught dead spamming a design, no way.

I wish randomize would either change the maximum shop bid back to 1000 with a maximum design price of 500 T's or limit competing shops to a 12 week run with a 3 week break before they could bid again. Either of these options would make the shops better and level the playing field for everyone lemonface.

Great Blog!! Diva1 < 333  Totally agree with your suggestions for shops !!!  I get that people work hard for them.. and want to be able to gift people but I think the the original concept of shops is lost on a lot of the newer players... 

I don't know if randomize just is too involved with other projects.. or has just lost interest.. but I wish he'd address this cause I'd love to have shops back like they used to be... where the prices were not so outrageous ... and every one had a chance at a design.

The 'shops game'  totally sucks now a days since all they ever do is gift people and never post for the public!

If they dont think they are villians,then they are completely wrong! They are very greedy!

I think a lot of people would like a change besides the shop owners and their friends lol i think there should be an amount they have to reach in order to move on...dont think its right they get to post one design for the public and get to move on

I have always wanted a shop that has designs available for everyone all the time hugatree343. The designers who contibute the designs could be compensated just like they are now with 10% of the sale prices. They could then afford to design exclusively for the shopping game with original designs!

The system for shops honestly sucks. If the design is 1T$, it sells too fast, but if it is 400+T$'s, it is available, but too expensive.

Zwooper's shops are amazing, much better. Also I blame the designers. They are all like gift me if you want to use my design, so then shop owners have to gift.
