On Day 42, shortly after Shane won his second HOH competition of the summer, he told other HouseGuest Danielle that the diary room specifically told him not to put up Frank and Mike for nomination that week. However, Shane continued with his plans to nominate both. On Day 43, Frank drew a "houseguest's choice" token during the player draw for the veto competition and that when asked to draw again he palmed the token. Many fans believe that this was an act behind the Big Brother production team to keep Frank in the game due to their persuasion to Shane in the diary room and due to no punishment taking place afterwards. This led to an outrage within message boards, fans and viewers, causing most to doubt the authenticity of the show once more. This scandal also became aware throughout the Big Brother house which caused tension between most of the houseguests. As of now, houseguests are not allowed to discuss the situation which leads to the live feeds being cut every time they do so. Allison Grodner has not commented on the scandal as of yet. Visual proof of Frank admitting to cheating during the draw to Mike was available on YouTube. In the video Mike told Frank to stop talking about what he had done and both agreed with Frank laughing off the situation. The video has since then been removed by BigBrother Superpass.
