Oooh dear. My first Rookies. I'm writing this more for myself, to see if I can actually recall what's brought me to the final day.
I joined because it didn't seem like there was a premade. I've always wanted to play Rookies, but premades seem to be hacks. I know you have to form an alliance to survive, but meh.
So I joined up. When I logged back on and the game was started, I had two offers.
One from EmilyJones, and one from Jarst.
I replied to both, just to see what they would say. EmilyJones told me that there seemed to be a big alliance already, including wumblebee, KathrineOliver, Jarst, and mario101. So herself, RedParamore, JustFX, and fallingtear23x were banding together to take them on.
Jarst told me that we should just have each other's backs.
The very beginning of this game was drama filled. wumblebee made a picture of herself, KathrineOliver, Jarst, and mario101 (I think, it was either mario101 or noa23, and proclaimed they were all in an alliance together.) So this was either a troll, or just someone really, really stupid.
So, I had an offer to join a big alliance, or join a partnership, in which I believed he was a part of a bigger alliance already.
I went with EmilyJones, RedParamore, JustFX, and fallingtear23x. However, it's not like I could tell Jarst no. If I tell him no, he knows I'm either already in a big alliance, that there IS a big alliance... or at the very least, puts a target on my back from a pretty big threat.
This is where my game, and tengaged pledge of being 100% honest and true to my alliances took a turn. Damn, Rookies is a lot more complicated than Castings. I had to tell Jarst I was working with him, or he'd know something was up. But the whole time, I was really with the big alliance of EmilyJones, RedParamore, JustFX, and fallingtear23x.
The first two evictions of wumblebee and noa23 went by without incident. Then Jarst, RedParamore, and fallingtear23x were nominated. This is when I had to pull out some manipulations. Now, I never told Emily that I was working with Jarst, because, y'know, if for some reason that his alliance gets the advantage, I didn't want anyone to know that could out me. I found out Emily had the POV. This is where things got really tricky.
I found out that Jarst knew that EmilyJones, RedParamore, and JustFX were in an alliance. He thought that was it though, as I told him that fallingtear23x and I "had each other's backs too." As a decoy. Since he knew this, he said he knew that Emily would use the POV on RedParamore, so we had to give our 3s to fallingtear23x instead of Red. I then had to convince Emily that everyone knew she would use the POV on RedParamore, so she should use it on fallingtear23x instead. Because then Red would get our 1s, and their 2s. While Jarst would get our 3s, and their 1s. I had to cross my fingers on this one, that Jarst's crew decided to actually go for it. And they did. The plan worked perfectly. They 3d the POV'd falling, Red got their 2s, and Jarst was evicted.
Now, this is the part I feel worst about. I sent Jarst a mail telling him I was sorry, and what happened... because I couldn't risk him telling his alliance that he thought I was part of the other alliance.
Before this eviction, mario101 came to me and offered an alliance between me, him, Jarst, and KathrineOliver. Now, I already think that they were already aligned, and just wanted to guarantee I was with them, but I guess there's no way to be sure. So once again, I had to turn my back on nice and friendly gameplay to keep myself safe, as I couldn't outright tell him no.
mario101 also happened to get the next HOH, in which he put up EmilyJones, and JustFX, the two most active players in the "other" alliance. fallingtear23x was algoed in for the billionth time. So someone from my true alliance was going home for the first time... but it wasn't me. So it sucks, but at least I was safe.
With EmilyJones and JustFX nominated, the only eligible people for HOH were myself, Red, and KathrineOliver. Those two have been floating on by most of the game, and I've said maybe three sentences to them. So I knew I was due for HOHdom. And as I'm writing this, that's where I am right now.
I've got mario101 telling me to put EmilyJones and JustFX back up on the block, and that he will get the next HOH to make sure that myself, fallingtear23x, KathrineOliver, and himself are safe.
However, I will be nominating mario101 and KathrineOliver. Unfortunately, EmilyJones will probably be evicted. Red or falling won't be getting HOH, which means that JustFX should be the final HOH... in which he'll nominate Kathrine and mario101 again (hopefully.) Hopefully the algo doesn't get me this time, as I'd like to say I went unnominated.
And then we have ourselves a top four that all came from the alliance I have remained strong and true to throughout the entire game.

I want to apologize to Jarst and mario101 for decieving you. But I hope you can realize the perdicament I was put in when I'm offered to be in an alliance with you guys... you just can't say no! It puts a huge target on your back. What I can understand you being really upset for, is stringing you guys along. All the PMs, etc. When talking about personal lives/interests/sports/cooking/etc, that was 100% genuine, and I'm glad I met both of you. But I understand if you don't want to be cool after I backstabbed you. I guess, I just didn't really see myself having another option. And it IS just a game. The chatting was real. Hopefully you guys understand that.
To my alliance members, especially EmilyJones, the one I have been conniving the most with, I'm sorry for not coming out to you and telling you I was playing both sides. Though the information I brought you saved one of our member's from eviction, and got rid one of theirs. I hope you don't think I was attempting to be dishonest in any way, I just wanted to cover my own ass, in case one of you accidentally outed me at some point.
And, I guess I'm just going to have to change my profile about being 100% truthful to every alliance I am a part of. The mess I got in... with getting two seperate offers, made it impossible to be truthful to both alliances. :/
And that... is my first Rookies ever. And my last one for awhile. I loved it. The most fun I've had on tengaged... but school is starting up in a couple weeks (which is why I wanted to play this now) and I know I just won't have the time to put into it.
I admire that this is ur first rookeis and that u were 100% truthful to the alliance but i got ur three and u could have got falling out if u gave him ur three and me ur one, Congrats on makign it too the finals and i admire ur loyalty im just dont understand why u gave me ur three:S
