Okay, I'm not much for blogging but if I'm gonna do this, I'll try to do it right.
I wanted my first blog post to be about how I play the game. For my first couple of games, my strategy was the same as how I learned it on tv. Be smart, be deceitful, be cunning, be sneaky, and most importantly, be cutthroat. I had alliances and I led them and when I say this, I got them far in the game. But usually they catch on to my gameplay and they betray. This has happened to me in two different times in the few games I played.
The next game, I thought I should maybe change it up. Maybe take a back seat and let someone else take the reigns. Though this seemed to appease my allies, my input of strategy every so often did not. And again, I found myself making it close but again being betrayed.
Now, despite my cutthroat game play, I am fairly loyal and when I say I have your back. I have it. Trust in that if you trust nothing else I say. If I promised you I'd help you, I will do so.
So, for the next game, one of the players decided he wanted to try something new. Tournament style fasting. I went along and because everyone agreed to the rules-except for two new breeds of dumb asses who found themselves on the other end of being blocked- I found myself advancing and doing so quickly. Albeit, I was lucky going against inactives but I still made sure some people had my backs. You can never be to sure.
I had played the game using a slight combination of both of my styles, and it wasn't till final four were I had to unleash the beast. Luckily I had PoV so I was golden and both of my allies made top three with me. My plan worked perfectly and I showed my loyalty.
It was my first Final and also my first win. And I've found myself in the Final again.
So, while I prefer my first style over my second, I find a combination of the two works for not only me but for the other players. Don't worry though. I'll always be a little cutthroat.
