MICRONESIA
This might be another blindside for you, because I know It's a Top 3 season for a lot of fans. It might be a Top 5 season, but I think It's too overated to be Top 3 tbh.
I already wrote a long blog about this season but It got deleted, I'm so mad. So I'm gonna make it short for this one.
There were 2 problems in this iconic season. First was the "fan" cast. Beside the 2 queens Tracy and Natalie, they were not real fans, like in Caramoan. They did moves so stupid that a true fan would not have done. Is that too much to ask to have real fans with the millions people watching ? Ugh.
But the favourites were desserving of their spots, even if I never really liked Amanda. She was fine in China but I always thought she was maybe too cheesy.
And pre-merge was sometimes awkward, with the Chet thing and the bullying.
But then post-merge It got way better with blindsides and iconic moves that will all stay in Survivor history.

Worst castaway : Joel Anderson

Micronesia is insanely overrated. I wouldn't even have it anywhere near this high.
Yeah... the blindsides were great. Yeah... the Black Widow alliance was great. But...
The editing this season was atrocious. Was it just me who didn't feel a connection to anyone? Even Parvati (who is one of my favourite contestants ever) was such a disappointment. There was 0 character development as it was ALL focused on "OMG!!! BLINDSIDE!!! :O" :| I don't care about blindsides if I don't care about the people being blindsided.
Disagreed, Micronesia is my personal favorite and deserves at least top 3. Plus Amanda imo is insanely underrated, the cast and blindsides are legit iconic, oh well
