Previously on Survivor after Genal won Immunity Etra had to figure out someone to vote out Mike,Garrett,Jessie, Mari and Vince forming an Alliance before the Immunity challenge decided that Ryan was the first to go but Vince's paranoia got to him think the alliance was targeting him Vince went to Ryan, Misty and Erika who all had no Alliance and formed one with them to take out Mari, Misty believing Vince to be a threat then Misty went to Garrett, Mari, Jessie and Mike telling them of his betrayal they all decided Vince was a loose cannon blindsiding him in a 5-3 vote leaving Erika and Ryan at the bottom and Misty in a power position
