We cannot let it ever happen again

Today is the Day of Holocaust Remembrance, Which is the day we remember the Holocaust which took place in Germany between 1938-1945. Today, we remember the genocide, the atrocities and the crimes against humanity. We remember the hate, the racism, and today we know what it can cause.

As an israelian and a jew, Im telling you right here and right now, THE HOLOCAUST ISN'T OVER!!! Nowadays, We are still facing manifestations of racism, hatred, xenophobia and discrimination. We are still hear anti-Semitic incitement, we are still witnessing racism by skin color, we do not stop hear about more and more hatred which is all around us, and yes- even among us.

Today is not only the memory of 10 million people slaughtered, burned, buried alive and suffocated to death in the Death Camps. Today is not only the the memory of millions of soldiers who sacrificed their lives on the battlefields for the sanctification of freedom, peace and love.

This day is the the memory of the uprising, Is the memory of war, Is the memory of hatred, racism, evil, and especially the memory of the human's obligation to eradicate all these terrible, horrible things from the face of the Earth. We're doing this, and we shall never stop. Since we cannot, simply cannot - let it ever happen again.
