The Philippine Eagle Foundation is committed to promote the survival of the Philippine eagles, the biodiversity and the legal and sustainable use of the forest resources.This foundation also aims to help people to be aware of the importance of nature.

The world's largest city in terms of land area is Davao. It covers all of 244,000 hectares. Davao City have a pleasant tropical climate and practically free from typhoon. It has a total number of population of 1.2 million based on the Statistics Office Survey.

There are plenty of public utility vehicles in the city. By that vehicles,you can reach in 45 minutes from downtown Davao to Malagos Calinan where you can locate Davao City Water Districts(DCWD) Watershed Park. There you can see a Philippine Eagle Center. It is the place where the Philippine's National bird is bred incaptivity in order to increase their numbers.The Philippine Eagle is one of our endangered species here in our country,he world's largest and most powerful eagle. With only 112 Philippine eagles estimated in the wild,this rare and beautiful birds are a noble symbol of this nations heritage.More eaglets are bred and nurtured at the sanctuary.Only too soon,the Philippine eagle will take its rightful place in the sky.
