As some of you may know, calling me a HUGE Big Brother (us) fan is a bit of an understatement. I consider myself a Professional. And I was first extremely excited when I googled "big brother online game" and Tengaged popped up. After playing the first 2 games, the only ones open for me at the time, My excitement dimmed. The current games can use some improving in my opinion.
FASTING :
I've played 1 fast casting game. It was fun at first, not knowing what I was getting into. But swiftly became easy and boring. I don't ever plan on playing another. the strategy is there. although very linear but its something. It just needs a little work.
-PROBLEMS-
1. Inactives
In theory this game would be very fun but the number 1 problem I see is that at any given time 70%-90% of the cast is inactive. Waiting 3 hours to finish a game with 4 active players in it is not anyone's idea of fun.
Possible Fixes :
-Kicking inacts after a certain amount of time ( after the 1st or second vote they miss )
-Locking Inactives votes , Lets say someone misses the first vote ( or 2nd ). after which they can no longer vote and they lose their timers. In theory they can still come back and win, they just never get a vote.
-TWISTs , Maybe a random double POV or Double Eviction. Maybe not even every game, but every once and awhile through-out the days games.
2. POV
A randomly determined POV is kinda boring and doesn't promote competitive play, Which is a huge part of having a successful online game. I understand the game is suppose to be simple. But a little math problem or Trivia question wouldn't be very hard. fastest right answer wins.
3. The way the Final 3 placement is determined.
As I said before leaving things like this to random isn't cool. Especially since this game is all about strategy and the best player should in theory win the game. a vote of some sort would be an easy fix.
4. PRIZES
The prizes are straight up lame. and I think 1-5 should all get a little something.
More Ts for the people that dont get first is a MUST.
LighterFluid, if there was a vote for the winner, the best player would never win. Tengaged doest vote that way, they are butthurt bitches and would only hold the vote. If the community was better it would work, but tengaged sucks in that way
