In a fastings game, it sucks to be on the outside of an alliance. In the beginning I had an alliance with TotalDramaLover1234, and gravy (yes, this is an actual player name). As the votes went by, me and gravy figured out together that there was a super alliance that was calling all the shots, and we were planning to find out a way to take out the majority. However, gravy was blindsided at the final 8, leaving me all alone in a super alliance. I started talking to TotalDramaLover1234 a.k.a personal message, and I formed a close bond with him. Long story short I survived up to 5th place being in the hot seat and then getting the final 5 POV. However, at the final 4, TotalDramaLover1234 did something so unexpected that it was shocking. He nominated himself, saving myself and blindsiding his final 3 alliance. He was eventually voted out thanks to algo in a tie vote, but without him sacrificing himself to further myself in the game, I would've been out fourth.
So, it's me again. In any of these games, it is very important that you take power of the game at some point, and maintain control of that power until you get to the finals. However, there is such a thing as too much power, which is a dilema that I have been dealing with recently in these games. Before the start of a game, I always try to make alliances to further myself into the competition, and to give myself an extra layer of saftey. HOWEVER, I usually go COMPLEATLY overboard and create a super alliance that is dominating the game, with me calling the shots. More often than not, however, this has usually lead to my downfall, as I have been blindsided by members of my own alliances many times, because they feel like that I have too much control.
So, here's a lesson to you all. Try to get into a stable alliance, but DON'T become a dictator which more often than not could get you elimenated.
Being in one these games is a lot of fun, I can agree on this. However, one aspect of this website that I an not really ecstatic about is the felling of finishing in fourth place. Now let me explain. In one of these games I had complete domination and control over this game, I was responsible for almost every single elimination in this game. Now I get to the final four. I have this plan of evicting the last inact of my alliance so I can reach the final 3, and possibly win. HOWEVER, my two closest allies ended up blindsiding me and unanimously evicted myself out of the game for being the main threat to win. And trust me... It sucks, knowing that you got SOOOOOO CLOSE, and yet you didn't make it to the finish. It really does suck
