1x4: "#FakeItTilYouMakeIt"
Josie has had issues with Liam since their date, and she had been avoiding him since the incident. However, the two are forced into a lab group by Jessica, who tries to play matchmaker. Liam apologizes to Josie, but Josie ignores him and works on the project. Jessica takes quick action to make sure her Josie falls for Liam, by tripping her while she walks holding chemicals. Josie falls to ground and chemicals splash over her shirt, and she has to take a chemical shower in front of the whole class, completely embarrassing her and making Jessica feel horrible. Josie runs out of class, and Liam follows her to comfort her. Josie tries to hide, embarrassed she is in her bra, but Liam takes off his shirt and offers it to Josie, who blushes and accepts. Liam apologizes for his actions and says he was just nervous that things would be awkward, which they were. Josie asks for them to start over, but this time as friends, so they can get to know each other before dating, and Liam happily agrees.
Jessi is still not over the humiliation she faced after Josie was picked by Liam over her. In order to rebuild her reputation, Jessi takes in freshman Aaron and Brooklyn under her wing to build up their reputation and make them popular. Jessi helps Aaron with his hair style in order to make him "hot" and she helps Brooklyn to give him a stylish look. Brooklyn and Aaron are notice by many Juniors and Sophomores, and Jessi cheers. That is, until, Brooklyn and Aaron start talking about nerdy freshman stuff, which annoys and bores everyone. Jessi thinks fast, as her popularity is slowly slipping through her fingers again, and shouts out that Brooklyn and Aaron are gay, shocking everyone, including both of the boys. After school, the boys yell at Jessi, but she tells them that they could be popular if they pretend. Brooklyn refuses, but Aaron is hesitant. Jessi offers both of the boys large amounts of money to do this, and they both accept and form the now infamous trio "Jessi and Homos".
Conner feels lost after picking up his friends from the party. Oli tries approaching Conner but Conner keeps his distance. Conner tries to find something he can use to keep his mind off of his bad influence friends, when a soccer ball rolls to his feet. He looks up to see Ashton and Jerome practicing in soccer club. Conner passes the ball back, and Ashton asks him if he would consider joining the team. Conner excitedly agrees and practices with the two. Conner enjoys himself playing soccer, as it helps him feel good, and Ashton is a good kid. Jerome, however, asks Conner if he wants to go to a party, which makes Conner choke up and run off. Conner runs and hides and hyperventilates and has a mental breakdown, scared that everyone is trying to make him bad and change him. Oli finds Conner and comforts him, apologizing and telling Conner that he accepts him for who he is. Conner calms down and thanks Oli for being his friend. The two hug as the episode ends.
