So I've played just about 50 games here at tengaged and I have to say never have I experienced more drama and for lack of better words stupid peope before. This game had so many liars I coudn't even bare talking half the time because the things people were claiming were absolutely crazy.
It all started when a user by the name of ichau13 decided to lie about having received a key that popped up. First off, why would anyone claim they had a key if they didn't? lol. They have a higher chance of being nominated then those with keys and they make themselves a target now by claiming they have a key when they're on the block. So I stated to him that I received a key (it was my 2nd one) and that he shouldn't lie about something like that. His response was to have his alliance and himself neg me for the next 20 minutes in my responses.
The funny part of the whole thing was he was then nominated the next day. He then was voted off.
It didn't stop there though as his alliance decided to continue their neg war and once again his main ally mohamed was put on the block. Mohamed was then voted off and decided to mail people left in the game to get rid of talldude_1031 and myself. The funny part was talldude_1031 and I were not in an alliance at this point.
Then a user by the name of DarrenFantastic decided to lie about having not negged before when his alliance of steev and vasoulini were joining in on the fun. He decided that since his alliance was falling one by one he would take the low road and begin cursing at me for no apparent reason. Not to mention the guy didn't get what keys did originally, couldn't spell a word to save his life, and the grammar used was the worst I've seen. I think kids in 1st grade had better use of language then him.
In the end this clueless alliance luckily lost and the Final 2 were talldude_1031 and myself. Thank god because I've never experienced such vile and low IQ individuals in my entire 6 months here at tengaged!
Game #14860 you will not be missed, but always be remembered!
Sometimes I can understand people lying about certain things here on tengaged in order to advance in the game. Sometimes people might feel they need to lie in order to get farther in the game. However, recently an argument came up in one of my Casting games where someone decided that they were going to lie about having received the golden key. Now I asked mysef..Why would someone want to lie and say they had a key when they didn't? I mean clearly that person coud get nominated and then everyone would find them more threatening since they claimed to have a key, but they really didn't. Doesn't seem like the best stategy to me?
So I decided to admit that I was the one to have a key. I did this because its very early in the Casting and I already have 2 keys so I'm looking pretty good to be safe for a good duration of the game. The person then fessed up to not having the key, but decided instead to start negging everyone that was speaking.
Now this person doesn't have a key and they're deciding to neg the people who didn't do anything to them. Not to mention make it obvious that they're involved in an alliance since those people also started negging.
The thing that isn't really shocked about all this is that the person is playing their first game here on tengaged. So I guess I really shouldn't be all surprised that the person will find themselves evicted easily the first time they're nominated.
And I thought I started off not knowing much here on tengaged...cleary there are people who just don't get how to play the game!
Wanted to welcome everyone to the newest blue card member..ME :). I'm very proud to have made it to this color in what seems like a short amount of time. I think these games really do get easier as you go along. Thanks for everyone who helped make this possible by staying true to their word in our alliances, by performing well in their respective rookies while I bet money on them, and the community as a whole for their support!
I have started to realize a lot lately that people apply to both Casting and Rookies together. I guess this would be considered a Pre-Game alliance. However, is it really fair? I mean maybe if you applied with one person in a Casting it wouldn't have that much of an effect, but having 3 or 4 people in the same Rookies game seems a little unfair. I've personally never applied to a game with someone I knew previously. I guess I feel like its kinda cheating since those people have an unfair advantage over the rest of the people who applied by themselves.
Clearly, there is no stopping this from happening, but I sometimes wonder if people really are as good of players as their stats show on tengaged. I think a lot of people really might just be taking the easy to road to advance themselves in color!
