They both had totally incompetent house guests to compete with, allowing them both to control the game (Derrick controlled the ENTIRE game while Dan floundered around the first few weeks.) This is Derrick's first attempt while that was Dan's second. (ie Dan was experienced while Derrick isn't) And Derrick was able to accomplish all that without the entire jury hating him. This is of course presuming that Derrick's game doesn't somehow fall apart in the last few weeks.
I will agree with this if Derrick does a few more HUGE things, he really needs to out do one of the biggest blindsides in Big Brother History where Dan evicted Shane
sexytex why would Derrick doing blindeslides like Dan male him better? Dan's blindsides were part of the reason the jury hated him so much which is not a good thing.
moonfelar had he gone to the finals with Danielle he probably would have won, Its not his fault that the jury was bitter...and the game isn't over yet...Derrick is playing a good game however imo he just fell in the right alliance.
