I mean, being born as the wrong sex must be the most confusing thing ever. And people keep telling you the mere fact that you are physiologically male or female means that you in fact ARE male or female must be so infuriating. And people who are transgender are sometimes not even accepted by their peers in the LGBTQ+ community (more in the past then now, but people who are transgender still face prejudice among LGBTQ+ people.) I think people that are transgender are probably some of the bravest people alive. There is a young man in my area, I think he is in 9th grade now, that has been openly transgender since he was about 12ish I think. He is bullied every day, but he puts on a brave face and I believe he has a whole group of friends who are really supportive, and the Gay-Straight Alliance that exits at the high school really helps.
