This is a game of Survivor like no other. No tribes. No tribal immunity. A brand new format. A brand new kind of immunity. A version of Survivor built on creating alliances, and winning individual immunity.
A group of Survivors are stranded in the Amazon jungle. Each episode, a Survivor will be voted off the island. In order to survive, each player must build alliances and friendships with others. And in each episode, there will an individual immunity competition. Not just one, but MULTIPLE Survivors will win immunity, protecting themselves from being voted off.
At the end, only one Survivor will be left standing.
I've been a member of Tengaged since 2009. I've come, and gone. I've seen my friends, come and go. This site has changed dramatically since I first signed up here. There were no Fastings. No Survivor. No freakin' Hunger Games. For god's sake, we DIDN'T EVEN HAVE KEYS! OR COMPETITIONS! Castings consisted of chatting and plussing each other for 7 straight days. We didn't even have apples or health!
I'm beginning to notice that I'm one of the old farts of this site now. I remember the good old days, and I think back on them frequently. I remember hosting some of the most dramatic, adult, and serious shows ever on Tengaged. "The Island". And the very controversial, "Tengaged City". I've met some great people, and some useless jackasses. And while most of my "core", the people I once knew on here.. have left, I find that the next generation of Tengagers.. is promising.
I've come to meet some great new people on here. Some look to me as a mentor, most look at me as a threat, and vote me out of their games (to this I say, fuck you all). But when they don't backstab me, I appreciate that Tengaged is moving on. It's growing, with a new generation.
The last time I came back, I found the maturity level of this site disturbing. But this time around, I find that not to be the case. There's a great sense of community here. You have your 15 year olds, and your 22+ year olds, like me.
I truly hope Tengaged stays around forever. This is a great site, with a great group of people on it. I think we could all consider ourselves one very large, very dysfunctional family. We all just need alot of medication.
And Tengaged beats Facebook any day.
