I was getting a ride to the airport and stupidly put my hand in my bag looking for something, and sliced it on my razor. It was bleeding really bad as I entered the airport. My mom was there and she rushed to find first aid help. I’m so thankful she was there because she helped so much and got it to stop bleeding after like 20-30min. As soon as the band aide was on tho I got suddenly overheated and was sweating all over, I got really light headed and then felt my legs kinda give out. That’s when I must have passed out and blacked out. Apparently my mom sat me into a chair and then I fell out of it, shocking everyone. I don’t even remember being in a chair. I woke up surrounded by 3 officers in my moms arms. I’m starting to feel better now but really terrified at the whole experience because never in 27 years have I passed out. Just really thankful by the support of my mom, the officers, and fire department that showed up to clear me for my flight

Thank god you’re okay. It’s unfortunate how these accidents happen and can be so bad. So so so grateful it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been though bro. Feel better
i feel bad for laughing at this- but also some people (including myself) get really light headed at the sight of our own blood. It can be really scary when you dont have control over it though. Def dont carry razors in your bags in the future tho omg
This happened to me one time when I was taking a shower and I literally almost bled out and died in there. Razor blades are dangerous AF. Glad ur ok now.
Thank god your mom was there because I know how being in the airport can stressful. In my case, I was completely find but because my first flight was delayed and I had a connection flight from VA to Dubai, then Dubai to Kuala Lumpur, and from there to reach my destination to Tokyo. I had to scramble so much running through lines with my luggage, and literally using social skill with the flight attendant for compassion to help me board because I was late. But that was just me.
I’m glad that the wounded area got taken care of asap which was the most important part. And moms are always there for us. Praying for both of your mom and you
midiaw Ugh traveling is so stressful but thankful I’m home now and my wound is healing. I did have like another “panic attack” on the first flight, but now feeling better. Thank you for your kind words
