So my first semester is coming to an end, I have only tomorrow left, then a few days off, then it's the second semester. But I need to make sure my schedule for next semester is all set up correctly. For the second semester I'm taking to following classes :
Math IB
English
Drama
Leadership
And at the moment, I have Physics IB too. Here's my dilemma. I want to quit Physics, and take a free period instead. Because I would have more time to do my homework, I wouldn't have the shitload of labs from Physics, and I could concentrate more on Math. I did Physics IB this semester too, and I wasn't doing bad...but I wasn't doing that good either. So I talked to my parents about this, and they want me to stay because taking IB costs money (more in 12th grade), and its non-refundable. And they say that a free period wouldn't give me anything. But they ultimately left me the choice of Physics or free period....I would kinda feel bad just leaving the class when it costed around 300$ (for both semesters), and I would be like a disappointment to them...
So what should I do? Free period or Physics IB? :/ Thanks for the opinions guys!!
