I feel like I have to say something, first off, I am only saying this because this is how I feel, I apologize up front for saying this.
I hate it when i'm in a rookies game or a casting game and someone PMs me to vote them in, it just annoys me so much. If someone asks me to keep them, I would usually vote them out, because they seem desperate to stay in, and thats not the way to play.
As most of you probably know about Stars 8, NoelSarah has been on the block SIX times! I think its great that she has made it so far. The first time she was on the block she mailed her friends asking for her vote to stay in. I thought this would be fine and I would keep her because she is a good friend of mine. She has done it every time so far when she has been on the block. The third message sent she apologized for being such a "broken record". So I felt that this would be the last time she would ask to stay in STARS.
On her fifth time up for eviction, yesterday, she said that she was extremely sorry for PMing. But yet she still did it even though she felt bad doing it. The fifth time was when I decided to vote her out, because I feel thats not the way someone should win in STARS.
I dont think begging people for votes is the right way to go. Is this really who you want to win STARS?

I PMed you, but I just want to say this publicly to anyone who's been bothered by my PMs. I only sent messages to people on my friends list and others who have supported me.... I didn't blast it to random people. A couple friends said "I gotcha! Don't worry about PMing me anymore" and of course I didn't send them anything else. I am really, really sorry I bothered you.
I'm not too bothered by it. If someone want's it that bad, I am more than happy to help out if I can. It does get annoying, but, I believe you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.
Exactly, Rich. And in the past, Stars participants I've never said two words to have PMed me for votes! All I did was ask my friends, most of whom have been really supportive. I feel completely terrible now... :`(
don't feel bad noel... people send me those messages ALL THE TIME! At least when I get them from you, I am getting them form someone I like. This vote was easy though... I would not vote anyone out sitting next to sapphire!
As Noel says, you could have asked her not to PM you any more. I know I would feel bad asking people several times for votes, but I also know the longer you stay in a game the more you want to stay in it.
So, I hope you don't look upon her in a bad way. I'm sure everyone in that game tries hard to avoid the block or failing that, avoid being voted off. And I'm sure you would want the support of your friends too if you were in Stars. :)
