So my parents have this really nice red couch at their house, but today they bought a new couch and asked me if I wanted the red couch. It's a gnarly expensive couch and it's really nice, so of course I tell them that I'm going to come and pick it up.
So my roommate is hooking up with our neighbor and she slept over there last night, I give her a call and I'm like "Hey, my parents are giving us that red couch. I'm going to go pick it up, can you come with me?"
And her response was... "Well...we're in bed watching 'House of Cards'"
So I just replied "Okay, well. I'm going to go get the couch now, I'll see you later" and I just hung up.
I don't really care if I came across as clearly annoyed or a little bitch but she's wrong for that.
It's a couch, a nice expensive couch, for our living room...for free and you can't come help me get it because you're in bed with the neighbor watching Netflix?
She texted me right after saying "Well when are you thinking of picking it up" and I was like "Lol girl it's fine, I'll just do it myself" and she never replied.
I'm ~*fuming*~ maybe I'll just put the damn couch in my room.
