First things first, I had a little extra time on my hands and decided I was going to join stars. I had no clue that I was going to do this well because I am pretty inactive on the site and nobody in the modern era seems to know me. After joining, I noticed a few familiar faces, but didn't know how those relationships could affect my game. I realized there were several others who played games with each other on multiple occasions, so I knew they would be a group that would be threatening to my future in Stars.
I started off with communicating with those I recognized, those being shawnpat7 and justme. I was added to an alliance chat that consisted of 6 people and I was never going to turn that down. The first couple sets of noms, everything seemed to be going to plan, but then, we figured out that someone was trying to FLIP. We knew exactly who it was and got another alliance together to make sure this didn't affect our noms sets, but for me, it was for my safety. I decided to pull in the players I knew, people who were seen on the outs, and those who would've had bigger targets on their back than me. I had ravenwhitefeather and tswiftlover13 sharing information with me from the other sides, which created a bond of trust between us. I used all this information to further myself in this game. Towards the end, I knew that the danyyboy67/ amnesia_/ vasquis alliance was going to be a problem for my game. They were attempting to get the outsiders on their side, which was what I was trying to do.
When all is said and done, I had my hand in every pocket needed to continue my game. I may have nominated for 7th, but I survived and kept myself off the block for rounds after, where I am asking you to reward social and strategic games that deserved a win.
