And yet I still managed to survive eviction :D Can someone explain to me why this is the case ?

Well In The New Castings Activeness Matters, And Also If You Got A Key, Apples Are Only For Your Health :) You Also Didnt Go Up Because Other People In Your Casting Was More Inactive Then Your Were! So Congrats! Pleasure To Help :D (+'ed)
