Sliding in at #15, this person will probably generate more troll- filled comments, but whatever. It' s Parvati Shallow of Survivor: Micronesia
Initially, I was going to put Parvati in the top five. Why is she comparatively low now? I re- watched the first few episodes of Micronesia that are still floating around youtube. Essentially, Parvati was not voted out 20th because Jonny Fairplay quit. The four of Yau- Man, Eliza, Jonathan, and Ami were initially going to vote her out, and Cirie and Fairplay would most likely have joined them, as Cirie' s paranoia about Yau Man and Exile Island hadn' t started yet. Parvati continued to be a target and on the chopping block in post- switch Airai, but because Malakal sucked they never went to tribal. In short, Parvati' s game and her extremely successful girl alliance would never have taken shape if Fairplay hadn' t quit, because she' d most likely be dead last. Plus Cirie was in this season, and how can you not root for Cirie to win?
Also, LiteCitrus mentioned a long time ago that the jury vote was initially tied. Is this true?
To vote for me in this poll, it would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who does so can spam me back and will get their name trended here. Thanks everyone!
I had a really hard time choosing this one, as most of the winners now are semi- decent, or at least not God- Awful. The next person on the list is Kim Spradlin of Survivor One World
"You' re an idiot. Kim totally owned at everything in One World" Yes, Kim did play one of the most dominant games in Survivor history. Yes, she won 4 immunities. Yes, she had an idol. But all of this is marred by the fact that the people she was against.... were idiots. Even after Kim started going on her immunity run, nobody even thought to target her. Only Troyzan even made an attempt to get her out, and that failed. Kat and Tarzan were quirky and lovable but absolutely awful at Survivor itself. To stop myself from raging about how awful One World was, I' ll cut to the chase. Kim played against incompetent players which helped her secure victory. I don' t think she' d have won if she was on the Philippines and competing against, say, Malcolm and Penner. Kim played a good game, her competition were idiots
Best Move: Making sure everyone was positive that Kim was taking them all the way, then stabbing them in the back, one by one.
Final Vote: 7-2-0 against Teacher Sabrina and Whiny Chelsea.
I had to ponder this one for a while, But came up with an answer. #17 goes to Ethan Zohn of Survivor: Africa
Ethan, a cancer survivor, is probably still one of the most genuine and likable people to ever play the game. His social game was exceedingly strong in Africa, making bonds with many people. However, I feel like he won because Kim J wasn' t going to win no matter who she took to the finals, and she just chose to take Ethan, and he was a bit of a "nice guy vote." Ethan did ok physically, winning one reward and one immunity individually. Not a bad winner but not great either.
Best Move: Making smart decisions in his social game (I.e taking Lex on a reward because he came in second in the challenge, no one could find a way to criticize that.)
Should' ve won: As much as Lex annoyed me somewhat, his directing of the Samburu alliance to the final 4 and deft control of the strategical and physical game makes him my first choice
As we continue on with our list, #18 goes to the person who was always coming in second to Terry. It' s Aras Baskauskas of Survivor: Panama
Aras is another case of someone that seemed to start playing a little late. Early on he essentially told Melinda and Cirie that one of them was voted off after the new Casaya lost the first immunity challenge. In my book, telling someone you are going to vote them off is a big no- no, but nothing really came if this so Aras gets a semi- pass for that. Aras' s alliance with Danielle, Courtney and Shane was a train wreck, though they somehow made it to the final 6 intact. Aras saved himself by knocking out Courtney and then made sure his semi- goat, Danielle, was in the finals with him. The problem I have with Aras is that he seemed sort of "out of it" while playing, and the Casaya alliance post- merge relied on Cirie a bit too much.
Best Move: Allowing Danielle to win the final immunity challenge, which resulted in her taking the heat for voting out Terry.
Should' ve won: Poor Cirie. Debateably most deserving player to not win.
