Placing bets.....oh an surveys too lol

I know I ask a lot of stupid questions on here...but bear with me! haha

I saw that you could place bets on people to win. Could anyone help me out with how to do this? I have some friends I want to invest in :D

Oh and also someone mentioned that you could get money from doing surveys. But I can't find them! LOL
