First, they need to make an official MMORPG based off the anime. NOW. It would be a great gimmick (for an MMORPG, at least) to have your character go away forever when they died so you had to start all over. Make things really interesting.
Second, did anyone wonder whether PVP existed in the game? Cos you can bet that if it did a large number of the 2000 deaths in the first two months came from people mugging and then killing people to get items and money and the like. Kinda worrying.
