All the smart kids are defenseless.
All the jocks are just plain dumb.
All the "hot" kids leave you breathless
but lack passion like they're numb.

still reviving from their night.
All the band kids play their brasses
as "school spirit" reaches its height.

All the swimming kids risk drowning.
All the football kids risk broken knees.
All the depressed kids are frowning
wishing for their own disease.

All the quiet kids are muffled
as the loud kids rule the hall.
But one day they will be crumbled,
will be silenced and will fall.

All the teachers once have failed
but place shame upon our sins.
All the stress of school prevailed
and now a loss of faith begins.

All the gay kids hate the bigots
for wishing death upon their life.
That's why they're living in their closets
instead of dealing with their strife.

Since when is school a place for hatred-
makes you scream and shout and yell?
Maybe this place that is so sacred
is just the intro of our hell.

I really want my education
but competition reigns supreme.
I deserve emancipation
from this society-driven scheme.
