"I might get hate for this, but I feel like a lot of the hive has intertwined her success with their black identity and the current state of black issues, so attacking her especially on stan Twitter runs deeper than we think. Beyonce experienced a great deal of controversy during the Super Bowl ordeal after a career of mostly unconditional praise. These critics were baseless, and composed by those who don't give two ***** about black issues and wished to stimulate the racial divide. So now whenever Beyonce is attacked, feelings linger and there are racial implications in the back of the hive's heads, even if it has nothing to do with race. I get this, though.
On another side, we all know Bey is objectively a competent performer. Every artist has its share of fans who put their fave on a pedestal. The GP and media already put Bey on a pedestal, so imagine just how high that pedestal is for her fans. To Beyonce fans her greatness is objective, not subjective, and to say otherwise is delusional and problematic."
