… it says it’s $7.25, is this the same regardless of age?
In the UK it increases with age, peeking at 23, and is equivalent to $11.48. Next year it’s going up to $12.59, that’s nearly double what it is in the USA, what the hell?
Most states just have a STATE minimum wage or it goes by the federal…
So the federal wage is 7.25 but a state can have a wage of 15.00 and it would go by that wage instead. However, age doesn’t have a factor into this so 14 year old working Tom makes 7.25 as minimum wage and so can 78 year old susan
