Question about getting banned!!!

So, I was wondering. Can you get banned for having more than one account on a single ip address? I ask this because my roommate has an account on this site and, of course, we use the same ip address. Even though we have separate accounts, could Randomize someone see that there are two accounts from the same ip and ban them? It's just something I've been wondering. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!
