Currently Recuperating... Apr 30, 2013
From my 24 hour flight back home. These holidays I went through the countries: Holland, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Spain. The cities I visited included: Amsterdam, Paris, Venice (Port which I boarded the Costa Fascinosa), Bari, Katakolon > Olympia, Izmir (on my birthday~), Istanbul, Dubrovnik (last port), Milan, Budapest and Barcelona.
I made lots of lovely Swiss friends as well as a few Italians. All in all it was a lovely trip and I believe it was worthwhile to go through all the trouble to get my passport.
I hope everyone who had their vacation enjoyed it and had a memoriable time.

Chapter 2 - Even though none of you care... Mar 8, 2013
I shall type this up and waste a spot on the recent blogs page...
I had the most awful day yesterday. That, my friends, is an understatement.
Awaking at 5:00am I had to travel to my father's house to drop off a document he had to sign in order to get a new passport. Then I walked to school and waited an hour for school not to start. Instead loading onto busses to go to the Olympic Park Swimming Centre. Sadly every one of my friends/aquaintances were on the same bus as I was on another, as usual. In the afternoon I had another cry-fest breakdown. After school I had to got to pick up the paper from my dad's house. My best friend Vongola_Fox accompanied me. Sadly she had to leave after 20 minutes of knocking at the door. Walking back to my dad's house I made myself comfortable on the side of the road. Eating the rest of my lunch, reading a book with the form at the ready for him to sign. After an hour or so, in the middle of my tuna, I spotted him over the hill with groceries in tow. I trotted up with the paper in hand, mustering up every morsel of courage my body had, and asked kindly for him to sign it. A moment of silence passed before he started to scream insults. Ripping the form into shreds and throwing it upon the ground as I ran to the other side of the road, shocked. He accused me of tresspassing onto his property, breaking his car and stealing his clothes. I held in my tears as he started swearing calling me stupid and retarded saying that I would soon not be going to the school I go to. He yelled at me, saying that I'll never learn and stormed off into the house. Personally, I do not do well with verbal abuse, as soon as his back was turned I stuffed all of my belongings into my school-bag and ran down the road. You might think that I am weak, stupid and Im not able to stand up for myself, then you are certainly right. I was scared, what would happen if I go back home? Will my mother hate me? Leave me since I can't get a passport? Disown me and send me onto the streets? Make me stay with my father? For the second time that day I had a breakdown, my whole body aching with no one to comfort me. Even though none of you would care about someone speaking through the internet and may call me a dumb, vulnerable girl because of this, I don't care. As I have the right to feel frightened, helpless and alone.

Chapter 1 - Two Noble Adventurers! Feb 25, 2013
Me and Nicole began this strenuous journey from the school gates. We encountered the small lollipop-lady and walked past the carpark. We viewed through the tunnel but dared not go inside as we took the usual bridge route. Spotting Mithwa and Sharkie we dashed towards them. Only to be shunned for the rest of the hike past the bus stop towards the train station. Walking over the concourse we made it to the other side unscathed. And began the tiring decent down the stairs and the slope. The terrain became rough as we walked up a mighty mountain passing an open parking space for cars. Ahead of us we caught sight of a pre-school. We ran across the traffic-ridden road as if we were chickens with our heads cut off. The land was unforgiving as we walked down an even steeper hill, the load upon our backs had begun to take it's toll. The pathways were cracked and disfigured as we continued down another deserted street. A suspicious asian man walked past and me and Nicole exchanged nervous glances.
Discovering the last mighty mountain we hiked over it. Our destination mere metres away. We dropped our bags upon the gravel path and sighed, relieved of the weight which had been accompanying our journey. Then in the distance, we spotted a broad looking male. Our hearts quickened as we expected the worst. My companion frequently making excuses as why this couldn’t be the man we had been searching for. The individual drew near, the outline of a school uniform it seemed adorned the boy. We drew a breath as we were sure of the fact that this was a non-dangerous person.
We contemplated our approach for a minute. Taking in the change of surroundings, the small path between the trees was no longer accessible. Wheelbarrows and containers blocked our path to the front door. Nonetheless we persevered through the cobweb-ridden route and made our way to the door. Nicole dared not to get much closer and stood out of view, behind the tall, misshapen bushes. I knocked three times and held my breath. Both of us were scared. There was no reply. I knocked a few more times, uttering out a feeble “Hello” Only to be responded with silence. Still not sure of my current situation I banged against the door with my knuckle and began to speak with the unknown entity which hid behind the wooden structure.
I turned to my friend. The form which needed to be signed clasped between my fingertips. “I have another idea” I spoke as we maneuverer back to the road-side. I thought for a moment beside our clump of baggage as Nicole checked the time on her iPod. I lead her towards the driveway of my neighbour, hushing her as we took a step into another property. The geese began squawking at us, startling us both at their sudden outburst. I shushed both of them as we dashed around the silver car and down a set of log steps. There we encountered a turkey, a full-grown one. We had to get out of sight of the residents of the house as we stood beside their verandah. We finally got into the backyard area only to be stuck in dense foliage, bugs nipping at us. What would happen to the two noble adventurers? Like this post to find out in our next chapter – The Phantom of Gordon!

imageI hope you all enjoyed your day and spent time with loved ones. Taking this chance to be with those who you care about and give gifts of flowers and chocolate. Although, if you spent your day stuck in a room sulking and probably gulping down ice cream and envying the happy couples I hope you had a nice time!
