After the dramatic tribal council that saw Brendan out, it appeared as if Taj was on the outside of her new tribe and relied strongly on her tribe to win challenges to allow herself to survive until the merge. On the Earth tribe it appeared that former tribe alliances were out the window with the two older players in tina and shane being viewed as weak and perceieved as an easy vote by Ciera, Heidi and Aaron but the former alliance of Tina and Ceiera was proving to be influential in the outcome of the tribe. On the Air tribe Tracy was clearly the least physical to contribute to her tribe winning challenges but it played to Tracys advantage because she knew she potentially could turn the male egos against one another given the right moment. After the immunity challenge it appeared as if Tracy's days were numbered!! She wasn't going to lay down and die but she went to work on the men. Posing to Todd and James that Coby was a clear strategic threat who would backstab them. Similarly she appealed to Marty and coby as to why James and his arrogant nature were holding the tribe back from being cohesive. It then appeared that she had become the swing vote in a relatively crazy afternoon on the beach. At tribal council, she voted with James and Todd to send coby home by a vote of 3-2 in the hopes that James being loud will keep her in the shadows till the merge. Proving that the alliance if 3 from the air tribe in coby, Todd and herself had gone out the window!!

After Cobys shock elimination the new Air tribe needed to find its bearings and work together again. Matty was furious as Tracy for leading him astray and pointed this out to Todd and James about how she was manipulative to his honourable game. He new that he had to make himself valuable at camp and prove himself as a loyal asset to drive a fork between the other three clearly seen in James attitude that can brush off against others. On the fire tribe taj hope was trying to fin the idol which she spent numerous hours looking for but she had suspicions that someone on her tribe had already found it!! On the earth tribe the dynamics were unsure as they had not gone to tribal council yet. At the immunity challenge the fire tribe absolutely dominated sending a clear message that they are ready to play. With the earth tribe once again escaping tribal council sending the air tribe to tribal council for the second successive time.
