What the heck are points for, like when i make a post and get +4 points, wat does tht meen and what do i get from it???

it's from your color level, as a white level u have +1

um so how do i find out how much i have, i meen wen i say somethin in my comp and then some one ticks it and i get +1 points, do they all add up or something???
