Welcome All.In a not surprising turn of events, Hyuna decided to use her immunity potion. Meaning I had to pick a replacement BOTTOM. In the end, it came down to @dannyjr087 and Yoder . One fit the theme better while the other submitted a fresher song. Ultimately, I had to go with the person who fit the theme better.
Yoder and Chad123, your fate will be determined by how well you do next round!
This Round's theme is : 😠WRATH😠
It's time yall show some passion. Remember I want originality not predictability
👅Temptation Twist👅

Oh this song is pure anger against country music fans/country radio. All because the lead singer said “We are ashamed the President (Bush) is from Texas.” After that comment, people broke The Chicks cds, threatened them, called them Traitors, told them to “shut up and sing”, so in response, The Chicks released this song as a fuck you.
The song I chose is “Bruise Violet” by the band Babes in Toyland. This is risky because it’s very raw and aggressive but was the very first thing I thought of when I saw the theme was wrath. Outside of the grunge/hard rock elements of the song musically, the lyrics and story behind the song are perfect for wrath. The song was, allegedly, written about Courtney Love who the lead singer despised and accused Courtney of stealing her idea and style. Courtney was even in the band for a short amount of time before being kicked out. The lyrics that really encapsulate her rage and wrath are “You fucking bitch, well, I hope your insides rot!” and the chorus just bring “liar, liar, liar” are really simple and effective. The title of the song too is “Bruise Violet” which is a dig at Hole’s song “Violet” (which ironically was my first song of the season).

Risky choice cause it’s short and definitely not everyone’s cup of tea but definitely conveys the anger with the world I’m sure a lot of people feel.
I know it's risky but I decided to work on the theme this way, this song conveys wrath through the lyrics. The song is about demonstrating wrath and revolt about past generations who, after wars and waste, left the planet collapsing for our generation and now we are experiencing global warming and we have the responsibility to resolve this.
