Sorry I'm reposting for the people that wanted to see because it got spammed down.
I really like most of this cast and I'm really excited to see how this season turns out.
1. Micah- Fucking adorable. He’s so nice, He gives off such a great vibe and I’m glad he will hopefully be in the majority alliance. He’s like perfect please ask him to marry me.
2. Sherry- Sherry is so good! Right after the challenge, the edit SCREAMED Priya first boot and I was ecstatic. I love Sherry, she’s so genuine and it would have been terrible to see her go. I’m glad she was able to make the move to get rid of Priya. Strong player, overall. The strategists usually go farther than the physical players, so hopefully that rings true with Sherry.
3. Matt- I didn’t think I’d like him coming into the game, but based on the pre-game interviews, I could smell the Matt-Sherry alliance coming from a mile away. Both are very likable and they seem to have an unbreakable bond, at least for now.
4. Katie- I really liked how Katie was already able to sniff out Brian’s sneakiness. She seems to have good instinct and I really like that in a player. I think she was smart to keep all of Brian’s Pokémon games, and I find it really funny that she didn’t even ask for them. She could very well use them to force Brian into a long-term alliance. I just talked in one of my classes today about how threats only work if they seem like they will come true, and she played that very well. Sad she didn’t get more confessionals, but she seems like a player to watch out for later on. I have high hopes for her.
5. Mollie- She gives off a good vibe to me, but I was a little sad she didn’t get much more airtime. I did really like her go-getter attitude with the idol clues. She knows the game and she seems like she would be able to go far.
6. Shannon- She was really good this episode, I love her competitiveness and her spirit to win. After watching the preview, though, I have a feeling she might drop significantly next episode.
7. Mikey- I really like Mikey, despite the fact that he was on the losing tribe and barely got any confessionals after the challenge. He didn’t even get shown when voting, so that might indicate he doesn’t have much of an impact on the game later on, but he’s pretty cool.
8. Rene- I like him so far, I could maybe see him going far. I think he’d be a more active Terry from last season, but he seems more outgoing and more positive. Hopefully he isn’t another Terry though…
9. Michelle- Most of the people in the middle were kind of invisible, so I don’t know how to feel. I like Michelle, we just didn’t get to see much of her this episode.
10. Elyse- See Michelle.
11. Nicola- I feel like Nicola kind of has a “mightier than thou” attitude because she’s already played, or she might be higher. I love her strategic instinct, but she kind of gives off a negative vibe, I’m not really sure what it is about her.
12. Brian- Seems to know the game well, but I didn’t see much I liked. He’s already getting caught in multiple alliances, which seems sketchy. Also, he seems like not the sharpest crayon in the box. Of all the things he could have taken from Katie’s room, he took Clorox wipes? And then he willingly gave her one of his most valuable things? Seems stupid to me, but we’ll see how that alliance plays out. He was also the only one not with his tribe at lunch, and that seems like a terrible move on his part. He appears to be alienating himself from his tribe. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him as a first boot from his tribe.
13. Allan- He seems like a kind of nonentity in this game. If he wasn’t a returning player, I don’t think he would have had really much to do this episode. I don’t dislike him, but I don’t think he will be a very good character.
14. Evan- He seems way to overconfident to me. He gives off the villain vibe, and I see him becoming disliked by the other players in the future. I really want to like him, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to. I can’t exactly put my finger on it though…
15. Emily- Emily is so negative about everything, and I can’t remember who said it, but she was kind of annoying about it, and they were right. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see her as a first boot from Ula Ula, but anyone else I would be surprised to see.
16. Alex- I think I feel the same way about Alex as I do about Evan. He really reminds me of Eric from last season and I don’t like that, so I hope he proves me wrong. I like his spirit, but he just rubbed me the wrong way, so to speak.
17. Brandon- He seems not the brightest in being able to read the body language of the other players. I’m not sure if I dislike him because he is guilty by association with Priya, but I don’t really like him. For being someone who was so enthusiastic about getting to play, he’s not very good. I know this sounds mean, but I can see why he was a replacement player.
18. Priya- Just seemed kind of like a bitch. The way she treated Sherry by not responding to her, the way she talks, her obsession over Shannon (which seems odd because I like Shannon), I just didn’t like her. As soon as the scene in the car happened I thought she would be the first boot, and I’m glad she was. She got progressively worse and worse throughout the episode. She thought she was controlling everything when she wasn’t and she was cocky, which ended up being her downfall. #DrewChristy
