Does the media fabricate US goings on?

This is for a 5000 word essay that i am doing and i just want to know some American perspective.

So in the media and how the government tells us outside the US, is that crime is reducing, those of colour are being treated the same/near the same than white people and that those in congress don't agree with Trump's ideology but still go along with it.

I just wanted to know if this sort of stuff happens and was wondering is there things that us 'outsiders' don't see

I don't believe people of color are being treated the same as white people. That is a major problem that the United States faces and this presidency is only making it worse.

NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!! But before I start my rant I would like to say there are many many kind hearted giving people in America but all the hateful  racist sociopaths are giving us all a bad name
I was raised in California and currently reside here. Also have lived in New Mexico Arizona & Texas all states are the same when it comes to people of color! withier it be white ppl being crude & rude to ppl of color of vise versa!! this country is full of hate and crime people are being killed for their race, gender, sexual orientation, mental health the list can go on!! If I had the money to move myself & my family it would be to The UK or Canada!!
