Ever felt a little frustrated because your noob tatics make you lose? Well I feel like sharing tidbits of experience to all those frustrated new players.
Example: Game 8071: alanadee is getting her posts neg'd. there are 5 other people on. the results? a violent rage. Which brings me to my tip:
TIP 1: NEGGING ON THE FIRST PAGE WHILE PEOPLE ARE ON IS LIKE SETTING A MACHINE GUN TO FIRE AT RANDOM.
No joke. If you neg somebody's comments on the first page, they will see it, and anybody else on is going to get an earful. This rarely yeilds positive results. The casualty list starts with the neg-ee, and follows with many people on at the time. enemy? perhaps. More likely it will effect neutrals, alliance members, and probably yourself. It's best to just fess up if you do. If they find out LATER it was you, you're going to lose a lot of hope of winning.
If you're going to neg (which you really shouldn't) do it...
1. When nobody is on.
2. On the second page. even if no one is on, if you neg on the first page then whoever is on next will find out and be able to quickly check activity to find out who it is.
That's all for now!
No the second point is very good. Say for example my secret target Bob is online. Bob posts 3 minutes ago and only the two of us are online. I neg his comment. He knows its me, because I'm the only one on in the last 3 minutes. However, if I neg Bob's comment on the page before, he wouldn't be able to prove it was me as he could of either a)not seen someone else neg his comment before b)he might not even notice the neg! This strategy would definitely work, better than your first strategy about admitting it as well. :)
