In the last 3 seasons the best part of the seasons have been the premerge game (Coltons shit, Brandon alienating everyone, philip and Francesca, Russells girls on the outs)
and with the merge so early it takes away from that and gives us predictable boot orders with like 1 good episode. It also encourages large alliances forming early and just pagonging the other tribe once they're up in numbers, which is what ruined the last three seasons. So if they keep having these early merges and just letting the show get so predictable its just gonna go downhill until its cancelled and probst can do his show full-time
