Pablo is hiding in one of the school lockers near the entrance of the school. He has noticed not many walkers have walked recently and doesn’t hear anything and peaks out.
WAK!!!
Matthew beats his head with the end of his gun, knocking the man unconscious. Within the next couple of seconds, everyone begins to huddle around.
“What a piece of shit. For those of you who don’t know, he injured Zak to save his own life,” Matthew aggressively speaks, spitting on Pablo. “Throw him in the offices down corridor C. We need someone to guard him while he is there.”
“I’ll do it.” Carolyn explains. Herself and Austin drag Pablo’s body down the hallway and around the corner to where Matthew directed them to.
“Wait, where is everyone?” Mac asks. They all look around, and realize a proportion of people missing. Evanna, Brent, The triplets, Thomas, Alex and AJ.
“Oh shit. Brent…” Matthew begins to worry.
“No. That can’t be.” Nathan explains, panicing, “I’ve lost everyone. Don’t let me lose them to.” Nathan cries, walking towards Matthew.
“We will try our best to find them!” Matthew explains.
“I was looking for Alexandra but couldn’t find her. I think she is still alive.” Nick states but also worried for Alexandra as that chance still exsist she is gone forever.
“No, Listen to me… Matthew.” Nathan gets up close, right in his face. “I have followed you. My family have followed you. Because of you, nine of them have died. I am not about to lose the others.” Nathan lectures. Matthew doesn’t do much. He just gives Nathan a glare of trust, and this relaxes Nathan.
“Wait, what about Jojo? Your bitten.” Britney says. Her eyes widen in sadness. No one tries to attack her.
“I’m fine. I best head of soon. I have a plan anyway.” Jojo laughs.
“What’s your plan?” Molly asks.
“I’m going to find that bitch who did this. Who blew us up. My bets are on the guy who got Tanner and Alex killed. If I’m gonna die, I might aswell try and kill him.” Jojo says, smiling as she pulls her gun out.
“Are you sure?” Matthew asks. “Your welcome to stay until you… you know.”
“No.” Jojo begins to cry, looking around the room, “…It was nice to have people I trusted through this…. It was… Nice.”
Courtney instantly hugs her, but does it in a friendly sense to make sure others don’t become suspicious of their secret love. But she whispers into Jojo’s ear,
“I’ll always love you. Thank you for saving my life.”
Jojo just smiles as she turns her back on the group, walking down the corridor. She didn’t even give the others a chance to say goodbye. She just left because she knew it would be easier. The other’s didn’t cry though. They just silently said in their minds,
“Good luck.”
“Are you ok?” Brent asks. They lay on the dirt outside the side of the school in a dense forest. They had climbed through the vent of the office which threw them out into the wilderness.
“I’m fine.” Evanna smiles as she hugs her three babies who are crying.
“We need to stop them crying before they attract more walkers.” Brent states, standing up and keeping guard. Brent slowly walks out into the bushes.
“SHH, I hear something.” Brent whispers back. Evanna begins to back up into the school wall as Brent searches into the woods. He heard a twig noise and he is approaching it slowly, when a bird flies out, scaring Brent, he turn around to Evanna.
“It’s fine, it’s just a bird.”
