HOMOPHOBIC JEFF *BB13

Jul 12, 2011 by bombshell
imageHere's what happened -- Jeff, Jordan, and Kalia were in the midst of having a pretty intense discussion on J.K. Rowling when Jeff then made a comment about the character of Dumbledore being a pedifile because he found out he was gay. In truth, the character (who perished during book six) is actually gay. Since the comment first aired on the live feeds, a number of fans have blasted Jeff for being homophobic, and soon after this comment happened the feeds switched over to Brendon talking. Kalia seemed to be particularly slighted by the remarks, which is potentially damaging since Jeff and the other returning players were relying on her for some votes.

What's your take on this -- was Jeff being homophobic in calling Dumbledore a pedifile, or was he just speaking out of ignorance? In addition, do you think a comment like this will hurt his post-game reputation?

He has been known for using the F(gay slur) and stuff in the past. CBS paints Jeff to be such a good guy, but screaming at Kailia saying "I DONT GIVE A FUCK IF YOUR SISTER IS GAY!"

He's horrible. I have a little brother who is gay and know the pain and struggles that he has been through and for Jeff to say those things because he is so ignorant just hurts me and makes me so afraid of what my little brother has to go through with people on a daily basis.

BTW Kalia seemed a bit sketchy but after watching Live feeds i see how she really is and I really like her....

Danielle and Rachel sitting in the background laughing at Jeff yelling at her saying that "A GAY GUY IN A MAGICAL CAMP WITH KIDS IS JUST WRONG."

uhmm i personly think that if gay people want to be treated equally they have to not care when some people say it now when they say it to them about them in a bad way then thats something and should be settled between each other and i think its ok i mean dumbledore does seem like a petafile like the old guy off of family guy anyways if anybody wants to be treated with respect you cant take words seriously i mean like the saying goes sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me lol i know it sounds childish but its for real

The problem here is the misconception that gay people are predators.  98% of those types of crimes committed are of heterosexual males.

I am gay, but I'm on Jeffs side. It wasn't offensive at all.

Wtf how does that make him homophobic? I really don't care if he doesn't like gays. If I was a lesbian, I'd just laugh in his face if he was. He's only one person, so who cares what he thinks? But I'm pretty sure he's not homophobic. We all make ignorant comments like that.
